History of The Sanctuary
This description is meant to provide people with additional information about The Sanctuary Baptist Church and provide a way for you to comment or ask questions.
The Sanctuary Baptist Church is a mission outreach that is being sponsored by Bangor Baptist Church as well as the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). Our church is lead by Pastor Kevin Hester who has been in the ministry for over 14 years. Pastor Kevin has a heart for getting the gospel of Jesus Christ out into the community. We are a fundamental BIBLE BELIEVING, BIBLE TEACHING church. Our church is located on Red Arrow Highway in Coloma next to the old Lane Automotive building. The Lord greatly blessed us with a location as well as a group of people who have really come together and transformed the inside of the building, into a church. A huge thank you goes out to those people who have worked hard and put many hours into our new church.
Location update: As of November 2008 (This update is a year old at this point, but I forgot to look at this part of the site - sorry about that) we moved approximate 1 mile west and can now be found at 247 East St. Joseph Street - Coloma. The Lord has blessed and our people invested many hours of labor to transform this building into a church. We are very excited to have our own building with additional classroom space, an office for our pastor and a separate sanctuary. - Praise the Lord for answered prayers and a Pastor willing to continually step out in faith.
We invite you to come join one of our Sunday Morning or Wednesday night services.
We would also invite you to place your comments, and or questions for an open and honest discussion about the Bible. comment posted by F.V. Mills on 07-25-2008 You 'made' The 700 Club on CBN! What a great challlenge to any church body-we need those challenges to help us let our light shine! Thank you for your ministry and I'll pray for a blessing on the church!
